1.Cathode copper affect the quality of copper rod.There is no refining process of upcastor,so the quality of copper cathode plays an important of copper rod.If the impurity and microelement content too high,it will reduce the electric conduction、heat conduction and pressure process performance.2. The storage of copper cathode will affect the quality of copper rod.Long time storage, without moistureproof and dust prevention,the copper cathode will moisture absorption.

3.Cooler scaling will affect the quality of copper rod,if use running water as a direct cooling medium,too much impurity of water, if the running water to be used long time,the pipe wall will accumulated a layer of incrustation, it will reduce the cooling effect for casting.

Charcoal,graphite as covering agent for upcasting production. The copper liquid begain primary coagulation in the graphite mould. The graphite as covering agent in the temperature holding production, to prevent oxidation,temperature holding function.The charcoal plays a covering agent,temperature holding,reduction action function.The carbon of charcoal combined with oxygen of copper liquid, to form as carbonic oxide, to realize the deoxygenization purpose. In addition,the charcoal can do reduction action of Cu2O in the copper liquid.
